My journey into personal training wasn’t a straight line. I used to be a paramedic but I quickly learned that modern healthcare is reactive rather than proactive. I became a Personal Trainer in order to help people in a different way because the “health and fitness” we see in magazines and on the internet is missing critical pieces.
As I began working in the fitness industry, I quickly realized that there were a LOT of people who had tried losing weight and getting stronger and healthier on their own, only to struggle with chronic pain, digestive issues, mystery illnesses and more.
How does it work?
Because of my medical background and training, I began looking at each client holistically and they started healing from the inside out. Any time we have a problem like the inability to lose weight, low strength and a lack of energy, there’s ALWAYS a reason why.
Each and every body is different which is why I build a unique program for every client using a 3-step framework that I call Holistic Optimal Performance (HOP) . This process starts with assessing and addressing internal health while building proper foundations. These are two critical steps in improving your body’s overall performance. I always start with this foundational work because if the ground isn’t solid, the house will collapse. Once this is in place, strength, weight loss and performance becomes much easier.
Are we a good fit?
I don’t do “diets” or “30 day shreds” and I’d love to explain why but in the meantime, if that’s what you’re looking for, I’m probably not the right trainer for you. I’m very meticulous in my process because I’m passionate about helping people improve their health and longevity. If you’re looking to lose weight, build strength and live a better, healthier and pain-free life, I’d love to connect with you.
